Your public catalog is your portfolio's outward-facing front door, a URL publishers, retailers, and the BGG community can browse to see what you make. Each game has its own toggle for whether it appears on the catalog.

Before you start
Your catalog must be enabled team-wide before any game can appear there. See Enable and customize your catalog for the team-level setting.
You need to be Owner, Admin, or a Member with edit access to the game.
Toggle a game on or off
Open the game from your Games library.
On the game page, find the Added to catalog toggle (near the top of the page or in the page-level settings menu).
Switch it on to include the game in your public catalog. Switch it off to hide it.
The change is immediate. A visitor on your catalog URL refreshes and sees the new state.
What appears publicly
When a game is on your catalog, the public version shows:
The game's title, status, hooks, descriptions, mechanics, player count, duration, age, and complexity.
Cover image and any other media you've also marked public on the Media tab.
A link to the rules (if you have a rulebook attached and you've made it public).
A "Pitch this" or contact button, if your catalog has one configured.
What doesn't appear publicly:
Internal notes.
Components (unless you specifically share them).
Playtest results and feedback.
Pitch history.
Drafts and unfinished media.
So even with the catalog toggle on, you control the granularity of what each visitor can see.
Toggle behaviour quirks
Catalog disabled team-wide? The per-game toggle still saves your choice, but no game is publicly visible until the team-wide catalog is enabled.
Catalog enabled but no games toggled on? The catalog URL works but shows an empty state.
Game toggled on but its cover is missing? It still appears, just with a placeholder cover. Add a cover for a better impression.
Tips & common questions
Why can't I find the toggle? You're likely on a game where you don't have edit access (you're a Collaborator with view-only). Ask the team Owner or Admin to toggle it.
Will I be notified when someone views my catalog? Boardssey doesn't show per-visitor analytics today. View counts at the catalog level may be available, see the catalog settings page.
Can I show a game publicly but hide its rules? Yes. Catalog visibility is per-game; media and rules visibility is per-asset (see Game media). A game can be on the catalog with all its rules kept private.
My game shows on the catalog but the order is wrong. You can re-order games on the catalog page itself, see Enable and customize your catalog.
Can I hide a game while still letting Collaborators see it? Yes, that's the default. Catalog toggles only affect public visibility, not your Boardssey collaborators.
