The Notes section is designed to help you jot down ideas, reminders, and important information about your game project.
Here’s how you can make the most of it:
1. Accessing the Notes Section
Navigate to your workspace and select the team or personal account where your game is located.
Go to the Games hub.
Click on the specific game you want to add notes to.
In the game’s navigation tabs, look for the Notes tab and click on it.
2. Understanding the Notes Interface
At the top, you’ll see a header titled Notes.
Below the header, there’s a description:"Use this space to write down notes about your game."
You’ll find a text area or rich text editor where you can type your notes.
3. Adding Notes
Click inside the notes editor.
Start typing your thoughts, ideas, or reminders related to your game.
You can use this space for:
Design ideas
Playtest feedback
To-do lists
Meeting notes
Anything else relevant to your game’s development
4. Saving Your Notes
Your notes are typically saved automatically as you type (auto-save).
There’s no need to click a separate save button.
If there’s a manual save button, click it after making changes to ensure your notes are stored.
5. Editing Existing Notes
To update your notes, simply click back into the editor and make your changes.
Your updates will be saved automatically or after clicking the save button.
6. Best Practices
Use the notes section as your game’s development journal.
Keep track of important decisions, changes, and feedback.
Regularly review and update your notes to reflect your game’s progress.
7. Access from Anywhere
The notes you add are tied to the specific game and are accessible to all collaborators with permission.
You can revisit and update your notes at any time from any device by accessing the game’s Notes tab.
8. Troubleshooting
If your notes aren’t saving, check your internet connection.
If you encounter an error, try refreshing the page.
