The Game Access Permissions feature lets you control which collaborators can access a specific game in your workspace. Here’s how you can use it:
1. Navigate to the Game’s Permissions Tab
Go to your workspace and select the game you want to manage.
In the game’s navigation tabs, click on Permissions (sometimes labeled as "Access Permissions" or similar).
2. Understand the Permissions Page
At the top, you’ll see a title like "Game Access Permissions: Control Your Creative Circle".
There’s a description explaining that you can select which collaborators have access to this game.
Note: Admins and Members already have full access; only Collaborators need explicit permission.
3. View Collaborators List
You’ll see a table or list of all collaborators in your workspace.
Each row shows the collaborator’s name and their current access status (e.g., "Active Collaborator" or "Outside The Loop").
There may be checkboxes or toggles next to each collaborator.
4. Select or Deselect Collaborators
To grant access: Check the box or toggle the switch next to a collaborator’s name.
To remove access: Uncheck the box or toggle off the switch.
The interface may show a count of how many users are selected (e.g., "3 of 5 users selected").
5. Bulk Actions
Use Select All to quickly grant access to all collaborators.
Use Clear All to remove access from all collaborators at once.
6. Save Your Changes
After making your selections, click the Save Permissions button.
You’ll see a loading indicator ("Saving Permissions...") while your changes are being applied.
Once saved, you should see a confirmation message (e.g., "Permissions saved").
7. Error Handling
If there’s an error saving your changes, an error message will appear (e.g., "Error saving permissions").
Try again or check your internet connection if this happens.
8. Invite New Collaborators (Optional)
If you want to add someone who isn’t listed, look for an Invite Collaborator button or link.
Follow the prompts to invite a new user to your workspace, then repeat the steps above to grant them access.
9. What Collaborators Can Do
Collaborators with access can view and contribute to all related playtests and projects for this game.
Those without access will not see the game or its related content.
10. Best Practices
Use permissions to share your design at the right stage, bring in expertise, or organize playtesting groups.
Remember: Admins and Members always have access; only manage permissions for Collaborators.
