Work by area — Permissions are organized by section (such as Game Info); you choose people per section.
Save as you go — Use Save Permissions after assigning or changing people so your updates take effect.
Understand who permissions apply to — Game permissions apply only to users with the Collaborator user type; other user types are not affected by these settings.
Finding your game
Open a game from your Games list
Your Games list shows all games in your workspace. Click the game’s cover image to open that game’s page.
Helpful details
Key areas on the screen: Each game appears as a card with a cover image; the list may include search or filters.
What you can do here: Click any game cover to open the game page, where you’ll find Permissions and other options.
Good to know: You only see games you have access to. If you don’t see Permissions on the game page, your role may not include managing permissions for that game.
Opening Permissions
Use Permissions on the game page
On the game page, Permissions is where you manage who can edit different parts of the game. Click Permissions to open the permissions screen.
Helpful details
Key areas on the screen: The game page header or tabs include Permissions alongside other options for that game.
What you can do here: Click Permissions to view and edit who has access to each section (e.g. Game Info).
Good to know: Permissions are per game. Changing them here affects only this game, not other games in your workspace. These permissions apply only to users with the Collaborator user type.
Managing permissions by area
Choose a section such as Game Info
The Permissions screen lists areas you can assign people to—for example Game Info…. Click the section you want to manage (e.g. Game Info…) to see who currently has access and add or remove people.
Helpful details
Key areas on the screen: Sections like Game Info… (and possibly others) appear as rows or links; each corresponds to a part of the game (title, description, etc.).
What you can do here: Click a section to open it, then select team members who should be able to edit that part of the game.
Good to know: You can assign different people to different sections. Someone with access to Game Info may not have access to other areas unless you add them there too.
Assigning team members
Select who can edit this section
Once you’ve opened a section (e.g. Game Info), you’ll see a list of team members. Click a person’s name (e.g. Anca Bujor) to give them permission to edit that section. You can select more than one person.
Helpful details
Key areas on the screen: Team members appear by name; selecting them adds them to the list of people who can edit this section.
What you can do here: Click names to add or remove people. When you’re done, use Save Permissions so the changes are applied.
Good to know: Only team members in your workspace appear here; the people you can assign are those with the Collaborator user type. New collaborators will show up once they’ve joined the team.
Saving your permission changes
Use Save Permissions to apply updates
After you’ve chosen who can edit a section, click Save Permissions. Your updates are stored only after you save.
Helpful details
Key areas on the screen: Save Permissions is usually near the top or bottom of the Permissions screen (or the open section).
What you can do here: Click Save Permissions after adding or removing people. If you change more sections or people later, save again.
Good to know: If you navigate away without saving, your latest permission changes for that section won’t be applied.
Adding or changing more people
Adjust the list of people who can edit
You can come back to the same section and click another team member’s name (e.g. Anca Bujor) to add them or change who’s selected. The list updates as you click; remember to save when you’re done.
Helpful details
Key areas on the screen: The same list of team members; your current selections are reflected in the list or checkboxes.
What you can do here: Add or remove people as needed, then click Save Permissions again so all changes for this section are applied.
Good to know: Each time you change who has access, use Save Permissions so the update is stored.
Saving again after more changes
Save Permissions to store your latest updates
After adding or removing more people, click Save Permissions again. Your latest choices are applied once you save.
Helpful details
Key areas on the screen: The same Save Permissions control as before.
What you can do here: Click Save Permissions whenever you finish changing who can edit a section.
Good to know: Saving applies only to the section you’re editing. If you change permissions for another section (e.g. another area besides Game Info), open that section and save there too.
Tips & common questions
I don’t see Permissions on the game page.
You need permission to manage the game. If your role doesn’t include managing permissions, the option may be hidden. Ask a team admin or the game owner to update your role or to change permissions for you.
Can I give someone access to all parts of the game?
Permissions are organized by section (e.g. Game Info). If your workspace has several sections, you add the person to each section you want them to edit, then save for each.
I clicked a name but nothing happened.
Selections usually update the list immediately; the change is applied when you click Save Permissions. If the button is disabled or you don’t see your change, try saving. If it still doesn’t work, refresh the page and try again.
Where do I find the Games list?
Open your team workspace (e.g. from the sidebar or home), then go to Games. The URL will look like …/home/[your-team]/games.
Who can I assign permissions to?
Game permissions apply only to users with the Collaborator user type. If someone has a different user type, they won’t be affected by these permission settings—and you may only see collaborators in the list when assigning who can edit each section.
