Game Whiteboard

What this page helps you do

  • Open a game from your Games list by clicking its cover image.

  • Open the Whiteboard for that game from the game page so you can view or edit the whiteboard.

  • Work with whiteboard content — Click highlighted areas or specific items (such as a game or note) to focus or open them.

  • Navigate between games and whiteboard — Use the game cover to enter the game, then Whiteboard to switch to the whiteboard view.


Opening a game from your Games list

Your Games list shows your workspace’s games as cards with cover images. Click a game’s cover to open that game’s page.

Helpful details

  • Key areas on the screen: Each game appears as a card with a cover image; the list may include search or filters.

  • What you can do here: Click any game cover to open the game page, where you’ll find Whiteboard and other options for that game.

  • Good to know: You only see games you have access to. If you don’t see Whiteboard on the game page, your role may not include access to that game’s whiteboard.


Opening the Whiteboard

On the game page, Whiteboard is in the sidebar or navigation. Click Whiteboard to open that game’s whiteboard.

Helpful details

  • Key areas on the screen: The game page shows Whiteboard alongside other sections (e.g. Game Info, Permissions).

  • What you can do here: Click Whiteboard to view and edit the whiteboard for this game.

  • Good to know: Each game has its own whiteboard. Content on one game’s whiteboard does not appear on another game’s whiteboard.


Working on the Whiteboard

The whiteboard shows notes, links, or other items. Click a highlighted area or an item to open it, edit it, or see more details.

  • Key areas on the screen: The whiteboard canvas with items or blocks; highlighted regions indicate clickable areas.

  • What you can do here: Click any item or highlighted area to focus it, open it, or edit it. Use the whiteboard to keep ideas and plans for this game in one place.

  • Good to know: What appears on the whiteboard (e.g. games, notes, links) depends on how your team uses it. If you’re not sure what something does, click it to see what opens.


Open a specific item (e.g. Dobro)

Items on the whiteboard (such as Dobro in this example) are clickable. Click the item you want to open or work with—it might be another game, a note, or another type of content.

Helpful details

  • Key areas on the screen: The whiteboard may show items by name (e.g. Dobro); the highlighted area in the screenshot is the one you click to open that item.

  • What you can do here: Click an item’s name or card to open it. You can then view or edit it depending on your permissions.

  • Good to know: Names like Dobro are the titles of the items on the whiteboard (e.g. linked games or notes). Your whiteboard may show different names depending on what your team has added.


Tips & common questions

Where do I find the Games list?
Go to Games in your team’s sidebar (e.g. …/home/[your-team]/games). Your Games list is the main page where all games in that workspace appear.

I don’t see Whiteboard on the game page.
Your role may not include access to the whiteboard for that game. If you expect to see it, ask a teammate with admin or owner access to check your permissions.

Can I add or remove items on the whiteboard?
That depends on your permissions for the game. If you have edit access to the whiteboard, you can add, remove, or rearrange items. If you only see the whiteboard in read-only form, you’ll need someone with edit access to make changes.
