Your Games Library

Your Games Library at a glance

Games Library overview

This is your Games Library: the main screen where all games for your team are listed. You can browse, search, filter, and open any game from here.

Helpful details

  • Key areas: The top bar has search, sort, filter, and layout controls. The main area shows your games (as cards or as a list, depending on your choice).

  • What you can do here: Open a game, update its status, go to Catalog, or use Create New game.

  • Good to know: What you see depends on your team and permissions. If the list is empty, you may need to create a game or check that you’re in the right workspace.

Finding and organizing your games

Search, sort, and filter bar

Search, sort, and filter controls

The toolbar above the game list lets you search by name, change sort order, filter by status, and switch between card and list layout.

Helpful details

  • Key areas: Search box on the left; sort and filter dropdowns in the middle; layout toggle on the right.

  • What you can do here: Type to search, pick a sort option (e.g. alphabetical), choose a status filter, and switch between Cards and List.

  • Good to know: Search, sort, and filter work together—you can combine them to narrow down the list.

Searching for a game

Search for a game

The search field filters your games by name (or other text, depending on how your app is set up). Results update as you type.

Helpful details

  • What you can do here: Enter part of a game’s name to see only matching games. Clear the search to see the full library again.

  • Good to know: Search usually matches what you type against game titles; exact behavior may depend on your workspace.

Sorting alphabetically

Sort alphabetically

The sort control lets you change the order of games in the list—for example, alphabetically by name.

Helpful details

  • What you can do here: Open the sort dropdown and choose an option (e.g. A–Z or Z–A) to reorder the list.

  • Good to know: Sort applies to the current list (after any search or filter). Other sort options may be available depending on your workspace.

Filtering by status

Filter by Status

The Status filter lets you show only games in a certain status (e.g. In progress, Published, Draft).

Helpful details

  • What you can do here: Open the Status dropdown and select one or more statuses. The list updates to show only those games.

  • Good to know: Filtering by status is useful when you want to focus on games that are in a specific stage.

Available statuses

All status options

When you open the Status filter, you see all the statuses your workspace uses. The exact labels may vary (e.g. Draft, In progress, Published).

Helpful details

  • Key areas: Each option in the list corresponds to one status. Selecting an option filters the Games Library to that status.

  • What you can do here: Pick one or more statuses to narrow the list; clear the selection to see all games again.

  • Good to know: Statuses help your team see which games are in progress, ready for review, or published. Names may differ per workspace.

Choosing how games are displayed

Changing the Game Library layout

Change Game Library layout

A layout control on the right side of the toolbar lets you switch between showing games as Cards or as a List.

Helpful details

  • What you can do here: Click the Cards icon or the List icon to change the layout. The same games are shown; only the way they’re displayed changes.

  • Good to know: Your choice may be remembered for your next visit, depending on how the app is configured.

Cards vs List

Cards or List view

You can view your library as Cards (with cover image and key info) or as List (a compact row per game).

Helpful details

  • What you can do here: Choose the view that works best for you—cards for a visual overview, list for scanning many games quickly.

  • Good to know: In both views you can open a game and update its status; only the layout differs.

Viewing games as cards

Games shown as cards

Games as Cards

In card view, each game appears as a card with a cover image, title, and other details (such as status).

Helpful details

  • Key areas: Each card usually shows the game’s cover, name, and status. Clicking the card typically opens the game.

  • What you can do here: Scan games visually, open a game by clicking its card, and change status from the card (see below).

  • Good to know: Card view is handy when you want to recognize games by their cover and see status at a glance.

Game Cards

Games show title

Each card shows the game’s cover, status, title and a short description, so you can identify the game without opening it.

Cover image and status on a card

Game card with cover and status

Each game card shows a cover image at the top. Below it you’ll see the game’s name and its current Status.

Helpful details

  • Key areas: The large image is the game’s cover; the status label is usually below or beside it and is clickable.

  • What you can do here: Click the card to open the game, or click the status label to change the status without opening the game.

  • Good to know: If a game has no cover image, a placeholder may be shown. You can still open the game and update its status.

Status on the card

Status on game card

The Status label on each card shows the game’s current status (e.g. In progress, Published). This is the same value you use in the Status filter.

Helpful details

  • What you can do here: Click the status label to open a menu and pick a new status. The card updates when you save.

  • Good to know: Updating status from the card is a quick way to move games through your workflow without opening each one.

Updating status by clicking the Status label

Update status from the card

When you click the Status label on a game card, a menu or panel appears so you can choose a new status.

Helpful details

  • What you can do here: Select the new status from the list. The card updates to show the new value. You don’t have to open the game.

  • Good to know: This is the main way to “update game status” from the Games Library. If the menu doesn’t open, make sure you’re clicking the status text (or the control next to it), not just the card background.

  • If something looks wrong: If you don’t see the status menu, you may not have permission to change that game’s status, or the control might be in a slightly different place on your screen.

Quick actions from the Games Library

Opening the Catalog

Access your Catalog

The Catalog button in the top bar takes you to your catalog—where you can browse or add content (e.g. templates or existing items), depending on how your workspace is set up.

Helpful details

  • What you can do here: Click Catalog to leave the Games Library and open the catalog view.

  • Good to know: The catalog is separate from your Games Library; use it when you want to browse or pull in content rather than manage the list of games.

Creating a new game

Create New game

The Create New game button starts the process of adding a new game to your library.

Helpful details

  • What you can do here: Click Create New game to add a new game. You’ll typically be asked for a name (and maybe other details); the new game then appears in your Games Library.

  • Good to know: The new game usually gets a default status (e.g. Draft). You can change it later from the card or inside the game. If you don’t see Create New game, your role may not allow creating games in this workspace.

Tips & common questions

How do I change a game’s status without opening it?
Click the Status label on the game’s card. A menu appears—choose the new status and it updates on the card.

Can I see only games in a certain status?
Yes. Use the Status filter in the toolbar and select the status (or statuses) you want. Clear the filter to see all games again.

What’s the difference between Cards and List?
Cards show cover image, title, description, and status in a grid. List shows one row per game, often with the same info in a tighter layout. Both show the same games; pick whichever is easier for you.

I don’t see the status menu when I click.
Make sure you’re clicking the status text (or the small control next to it) on the card. If it still doesn’t open, you may not have permission to edit that game, or your workspace may use a slightly different control—check with your team admin if needed.
