Rename your team workspace
Change your team's name, website, publisher flag and logo from the Team Account tab without touching any of your work.

Your team's name is the label in the team switcher, on invitations and in your team's branding. You can change it, along with the website, the publisher flag and the logo, at any time. This page is for Admins.
What this page helps you do
- Rename the team.
- Add the team's website and say whether you are a publisher.
- Upload a new team logo.
- Know when the Team URL field matters.
You'll start from Settings > Team Account.
Before you start
- You need to be an Admin or the Primary Owner; Members and Collaborators do not see the Team Account tab.
- Renaming is safe. Games, projects, playtests, contacts, members and billing stay exactly where they are.
Rename the team
- Open your profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings, then Team Account.
- In the Team Info card, change Team Name.
- Optionally fill in Website and answer Are you a publisher? (Yes, I am a publisher or No, I am not a publisher).
- Click Update Team.
Helpful details
- Key areas: the Team Info card, below Team Logo.
- What you can do: use 2 to 50 characters. Special characters and a few reserved names are refused with a message.
- Good to know: the new name shows in the team switcher right away. Nothing else about the team changes.
The Team URL field
When your team name uses non-Latin characters (for example Japanese or Cyrillic), a Team URL field appears under the name. Type a short version with English letters, numbers and hyphens, such as my-team-name.
Helpful details
- Key areas: the field appears only when needed and reads "Only English letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), and hyphens (-) are allowed."
- What you can do: pick any free value; a taken one is refused ("This URL is already taken").
- Good to know: this value is the team's address inside the app. Your public Catalog address is set separately in the Catalog area.
Update the team logo
In the Team Logo card, upload an image. Square images look best because the logo is shown in round avatars.

- What you can do: replace the logo whenever your branding changes.
- Good to know: the logo appears in the team switcher. Brand colors and social links live in the two cards below; see Your team's settings, tab by tab.
Tips & common questions
Will renaming break my public Catalog? No. The Catalog's address is managed in the Catalog area and does not change when you rename the team.
Can two teams have the same name? Names can repeat. The internal team address (the Team URL when shown) must be unique.
My team name is on invoices. Can I change that? Invoices use the billing name in the Stripe Billing Portal, not the Boardssey team name. See Update or cancel your subscription.
Can I use special characters in the name? The form refuses special characters with a message. A name in a non-Latin alphabet is accepted and asks for a Team URL.
