Lay out a catalog page with blocks
Build a catalog page from blocks (hero, columns, images, video, FAQ, games) in the page designer, then save and preview it.
Last reviewed October 11, 2026
The page designer turns a catalog page into a laid-out web page: a hero banner, columns, image galleries, a video, a question-and-answer list and your games, arranged by dragging blocks. No code needed.
What this page helps you do
- Open the page designer from a catalog page.
- Add, arrange and edit blocks.
- Show your games on a page.
- Save, preview and leave safely.
You'll start from Catalog > Pages, with a page selected.
Before you start
- Only Admins can use the page designer, like the rest of the Pages tab.
- Save or undo any pending changes in the page's form first. The designer button is disabled until you do ("Save or undo your changes above before opening the designer.").
- The text you already wrote in Content comes along as the first blocks.
Open the designer
Select a page in Pages. Under Content, click Design this page. The designer opens in a large window over the settings. A page that already has a layout shows Open the page designer instead.
Helpful details
- Key areas: on the left, the Blocks list and the page Outline; in the middle, the page; on the right, the Settings of the selected block. The top bar has Undo, Redo, a Screen size and zoom menu, Back, View page and Save.
- What you can do: switch the screen size to check how the page looks on a phone.
- Good to know: once a page is laid out in the designer, the form notes "This page is laid out in the page designer." and the designer is where you edit its content from then on.
Add and arrange blocks
Drag a block from the Blocks list onto the page, or into a Section or Columns block ("Drop blocks here"). Click a block to edit it in Settings. Blocks sit in five categories.
Helpful details
- Key areas: Intro: Hero (title, text, up to two buttons, with the image behind the text, beside it, or text only). Layout: Section, Columns, Space, Divider. Content: Heading, Text, Button, Questions (a list of questions and answers). Media: Image, Gallery, Video (a YouTube or Vimeo address), Logos. Games: Games and Featured game.
- What you can do: on a selected block use Duplicate, Delete and Select the block around it. Reorder blocks in the Outline on the left.
- Good to know: images are uploaded from your computer (up to 10 MB each) or pasted as an
https://address. Give each image a Description for screen readers.
Show your games on a page
Drag a Games block onto the page. Under Which games, choose All, New only or Pick them, and set Up to a number of games. A Featured game block shows one game with its cover beside a text.
Helpful details
- Key areas: Games options include Show the short description and an optional Button on each game. Featured game takes a Game, a Text (empty uses the game's short description) and the side the cover sits on.
- What you can do: build a landing page with a hero, your newest release as a featured game, and the rest of the line below.
- Good to know: the blocks only show games that are in this catalog ("Share games in the catalog to show them here."). Add games in Shared Games first. See Choose and order the games in a catalog.
Page settings
Click the page itself (or Page in the Outline) to edit the page-wide settings.
Helpful details
- Key areas: Show the page title and Page width (Narrow, Wide or Full).
- What you can do: hide the title when your hero already carries it.
- Good to know: colors and fonts come from the catalog's theme in Design, so the page matches the rest of the catalog. Block settings offer Brand color, Accent and Custom color backgrounds.
Save and leave
Click Save in the top bar. View page opens the live page, and Back returns you to the Pages tab.
Helpful details
- Key areas: leaving with unsaved work asks "Leave without saving?" with Keep editing and Leave.
- What you can do: save as often as you like; each save replaces the previous layout.
- Good to know: a page can hold up to 400 blocks, nested up to 6 levels deep. Beyond that, saving fails with "This page has too many blocks, or blocks nested too deep, to save." and you need to remove some.
Tips & common questions
The Design this page button is grayed out. You have unsaved changes in the page's form. Click Save (or reload to discard them) and the button becomes active.
Can I go back to the plain text editor? Once a page is laid out in the designer, its content is edited in the designer. Keep the layout simple (a single Text block) if you only need text.
Will the page look right on phones? Use the Screen size and zoom menu in the top bar to view the page at phone width before you save.
Do visitors have to be published to see the page? The page itself must be Published in its form. The designer's Save only saves the layout.
