See how visitors use your catalog

Read the Stats tab, with visits, game views, page views, downloads and messages per catalog over 7, 30 or 90 days, with no cookies.

Last reviewed October 11, 2026

The Stats tab tells you whether anyone is looking: how often your catalog, its games and its pages were opened, how many files were downloaded and how many messages came in. The counts are kept without cookies or personal data, so there is nothing to consent to and nothing to configure.

What this page helps you do

  • Pick a period of 7, 30 or 90 days.
  • Read the totals for visits, game views, downloads and messages.
  • See visits per day and which games and pages get attention.
  • Understand what is and is not counted.

You'll start from Catalog > Stats.

Before you start

  • Every Member and Admin can read the stats. Collaborators do not see the catalog settings.
  • Stats are kept per catalog. Pick the catalog above the tabs if your team has several.

Pick a period

In the sidebar, click Catalog and open Stats. Use the Period switch to show the last 7 days, 30 days or 90 days.

Helpful details

  • Key areas: the four totals at the top: Visits, Game views, Downloads and Messages.
  • What you can do: compare a convention week with a quiet month by switching the period.
  • Good to know: days follow UTC, so a late-evening visit may count on the next day for you.

Read the chart and tables

Below the totals, Visits per day draws the catalog's visits over the period. Under it, the Games table lists each game with its Game views and Downloads, and the Pages table lists each content page with its Page views.

Helpful details

  • Key areas: a game or page that was removed from the catalog shows as Removed game or Removed page with its counts kept.
  • What you can do: spot the game publishers open most and put it first in Shared Games. See Choose and order the games in a catalog.
  • Good to know: Downloads count the rulebook, sell sheet, print and play and press kit buttons on game pages.

What is counted

The counts come from the public pages themselves.

Helpful details

  • Key areas: a Visit is the catalog's front page opened; a Game view is a game page opened; a Page view is one of your content pages opened; a Download is a file button clicked; Messages are what the contact form received.
  • What you can do: trust the numbers as a trend. They are counts of page opens, not identified visitors: each page counts once per browser tab, so a visitor who comes back tomorrow counts again.
  • Good to know: "Counts are kept without cookies or personal data, your own previews are not counted." Opening the catalog from the settings' preview or Open in New Tab does not inflate your stats.

Tips & common questions

The tab says "No visits yet". Nobody has opened the catalog since stats began, or the catalog is not published. Share the address and come back later.

Can I see who visited? No. Boardssey never records visitors' identities or IP addresses. For deeper analytics, Admins can add a Google Analytics 4 or Meta pixel ID in the Advanced tab. See Analytics, custom code and SEO.

Why are my numbers different from Google Analytics? Boardssey counts every page open without cookies; analytics tools filter, sample and depend on consent. Expect the two to differ.

Can I export the stats? Not from this tab today. Use your own analytics tool for exports.
