Last reviewed October 11, 2026
The Coin Flipper is for the moment mid-game when a rule says "flip a coin" and nobody has one. Click, watch the coin spin, read heads or tails.
What this page helps you do

You'll start from Tools, under the Playtesting chip.
Open the tool
In the sidebar, open Tools, click Playtesting, then click Coin Flipper.
Helpful details
- Key areas: a large coin, a Flip Coin button and a running count underneath.

- Good to know: the tool appears under the Playtesting chip only.
Flip the coin
Click Flip Coin. The coin spins for about a second and lands on heads or tails.
Helpful details

- What you can do: flip one coin at a time. For "best of five", flip five times and read the totals.
- Good to know: the counts reset when you reload or leave the page. There is no saved history.
Tips & common questions
Is the coin fair? Yes. Each flip is a 50/50 random pick. The spinning animation is just for show.
Can I flip several coins at once? No. Flip repeatedly and use the totals.
Can I weight the coin? No. For a weighted outcome, make a custom die in the Dice Roller and repeat a face as many times as you need.
Can I keep the results for a playtest report? Note the totals before you leave the page, or take a screenshot. Nothing is saved automatically.
