Score Pad
Keep scores for any number of players and scoring categories on a sheet that is saved to your account.
Last reviewed October 11, 2026
The Score Pad is a scoring sheet on screen: one column per player, one row per scoring category or round, and a running total under each player. It remembers the sheet, so you can pick it up where you left off.
What this page helps you do
- Add players and give each a name and a color.
- Add scoring rows (rounds, categories) and name them.
- See each player's total update as you type.
You'll start from Tools, under the Playtesting chip.
Open the tool
In the sidebar, open Tools, click Playtesting, then click Score Pad.
Helpful details
- Key areas: Add Player and Add Row buttons above the sheet. The sheet starts with two players and one row named "Score".
- What you can do: on a wide screen you see a table; on a phone each player becomes a card.
- Good to know: the card is listed under Playtesting only.
Add players
Click Add Player for each person at the table.
Helpful details
- Key areas: each player heading has an editable name ("Player 3" by default), a color picker and an X to remove the player.
- What you can do: pick a color that matches the player's pieces so the sheet is easy to read across the table.
- Good to know: removing a player drops their scores from every row.
Add scoring rows
Click Add Row for each round or scoring category.
Helpful details
- Key areas: every row has an editable name (type "Round 1", "Buildings", "Bonus") and a score cell per player. Remove Row deletes a row.
- What you can do: type a number in a cell; the Total under each player updates immediately ("Total Ana: 42").
- Good to know: negative numbers work for penalties.
Keep the sheet
Nothing to click. The pad saves itself.
Helpful details
- Key areas: players, rows and scores are stored in your account preferences.
- What you can do: close the tab mid-game and come back later; the sheet is still there, on any device where you sign in.
- Good to know: the sheet is yours, not the team's. Other members do not see it.
Tips & common questions
How do I start a new game? Remove the rows you no longer need and add fresh ones, or set every cell back to 0. There is no single "new game" button.
Can I track rounds and categories at once? Yes. Rows are free-form, so mix "Round 1", "Round 2" and "End bonus" in one sheet.
Can other players see the sheet live? No. Share your screen on a video call, or use the Scoreboard widget on a Virtual Table room (Prototypes, beta).
Can I save the result to a playtest? Copy the totals into the playtest's notes or feedback by hand. The pad does not export.
