What this page helps you do
View project stats at a glance so you can see how many tasks exist and how they’re distributed.
Open the Stats page from a project by clicking Stats in the sidebar or project navigation.
Refresh the stats when you want the numbers to reflect the latest changes.
Drill into specific counts such as Total Tasks, Overdue, and In Progress to see the underlying tasks or details.
Keep track of progress without opening every task list or board.
Stats lives inside each project. Go to your team’s Projects (e.g. home/[your-team]/projects), open a project, then use Stats in the project’s navigation.
Getting to the Stats page
Open Stats from the project
Click Stats in the left sidebar or project navigation to open the Stats page for that project. This is where you’ll see all the summary numbers for the project’s tasks.
Helpful details
Key areas on the screen: The sidebar lists Stats alongside other project areas (e.g. board, tasks, settings). The main area shows the current page.
What you can do here: Click Stats anytime you want to see the project’s stats without digging through task lists.
Good to know: Stats are scoped to the project you’re in—you only see numbers for that project.
Understanding the Stats page
The stats overview
The Stats page shows a summary of the project’s tasks: total count, how many are overdue, and how many are in progress. Use this view to quickly gauge where the project stands.
Helpful details
Key areas on the screen: The main area shows stat cards or sections for Total Tasks, Overdue, In Progress, and any other metrics your project uses. A Refresh control is usually near the top.
What you can do here: Scan the numbers, click Refresh to update them, and click into a stat (e.g. Total Tasks or Overdue) to see the related tasks or details.
Good to know: Numbers update when you refresh; they reflect the state of tasks at the time of the last refresh.
Updating the numbers with Refresh
Click Refresh to recalculate the stats so they match the latest tasks and statuses. Helpful after you or your team have added, completed, or changed tasks.
Helpful details
Key areas on the screen: Refresh is typically in the top-right area of the Stats page.
What you can do here: Click Refresh whenever you want the displayed numbers to reflect the current state of the project.
Good to know: If the numbers feel off, try refreshing once; new or updated tasks may not be included until you do.
Total Tasks
Total Tasks is the count of all tasks in the project. Click it to see the full list or a filtered view of those tasks.
Helpful details
Key areas on the screen: Total Tasks appears as a stat card or section, often with a number next to it.
What you can do here: Click Total Tasks (or the label like “Total Tasks…”) to open the list of all tasks for this project.
Good to know: This number includes every task in the project, regardless of status or due date.
Overdue
Overdue shows how many tasks have passed their due date and are not yet complete. Click it to see which tasks need attention.
Helpful details
Key areas on the screen: Overdue appears as its own stat, usually with a count.
What you can do here: Click Overdue (or “Overdue…”) to open the list of overdue tasks so you can prioritize or update them.
Good to know: Only tasks with a due date in the past and still open are counted here. Completing a task or updating its due date will change this number after you refresh.
In Progress
In Progress is the count of tasks currently being worked on. Click it to see the list of in-progress tasks.
Helpful details
Key areas on the screen: In Progress is shown as a separate stat with its own number.
What you can do here: Click In Progress (or “In Progress…”) to open the tasks that are marked in progress—useful for handoffs or status updates.
Good to know: This number reflects whatever your project uses as “in progress” (e.g. a specific status or column). Moving a task to done or another status will change the count after you refresh.
Tips & common questions
Why don’t the numbers match what I expect?
Click Refresh so stats are recalculated from the latest tasks. If you just added or changed tasks, they may not show until you refresh.
Can I see stats for more than one project?
Stats are per project. Open each project and go to Stats to see that project’s numbers. There isn’t a single “all projects” stats view on this page.
What happens when I click Total Tasks, Overdue, or In Progress?
You’ll typically see the list of tasks that make up that count—so you can open, edit, or reassign them from there.
