Size Scale Reference
Show how big your box or component really is by placing its picture next to a person or a pair of hands, then download the image.

Photos of a game rarely tell you how big it is. Size Scale Reference puts a picture of your box or component next to a human silhouette, or in a pair of hands, at true relative size, so buyers and publishers see the scale at a glance.
What this page helps you do
- Upload a picture of your product.
- Choose a person or hands as the reference.
- Enter the real height and download a PNG for your catalog page or sell sheet.
You'll start from Tools, under the Pre-production or Designing chip.
Before you start
- A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result. JPG and WebP work too.
- Measure the product's real height (up to 65 cm).
Open the tool
In the sidebar, open Tools, click Pre-production (or Designing), then click Size Scale Reference.
Helpful details
- Key areas: a settings card on the left and a live preview on the right.
- What you can do: every change redraws the preview.
- Good to know: the card carries a NEW badge and is listed under both Pre-production and Designing.
Upload the product image
Under Product image, choose a file or drag one onto the field.
Helpful details
- Key areas: PNG, JPG and WebP are accepted. The file name shows under the field once it loads.
- What you can do: use a box render from Digital Mockups, a photo with the background removed, or a flat front view.
- Good to know: the tool scales the picture by its height, so crop away empty space above and below the product first.
Pick a reference and set the height
Choose a Reference and type the Product height.
Helpful details
- Key areas: the references are Person (male silhouette), Person (female silhouette) and Hands holding the product. The height takes cm or in, up to 65 cm.
- What you can do: switch on Show measurement bar to print the height next to the product.
- Good to know: switching the unit converts the number you already typed.
Download the image
Click Download PNG.
Helpful details
- Key areas: one PNG with the reference figure, your product and, if enabled, the measurement bar.
- What you can do: add it to the game's Media tab, a sell sheet or a crowdfunding page.
- Good to know: the button is disabled until an image is loaded.
Tips & common questions
Does this tool list standard card or box sizes? No. For card presets use P&P Cards Layout or Dieline Templates; this tool only shows your product at scale.
My product is taller than 65 cm. The height field stops at 65 cm. Show a part of the product, or the box it ships in.
Can I show two products together? Not in one run. Make one image per product with the same reference, and they will be at the same scale.
Why does the product look stretched? The tool keeps the picture's proportions; stretching comes from the source image. Export the picture again without resizing it.
